Preparing for Gloucester Lantern Procession

17th November 2018
During the last two weeks, pupils have been working with the artist Anita Andrews to create lanterns to carry in the Gloucester Lantern Procession on 18th November. They used willow to make the frames and then tissue paper to make the snowflake outline.
On Monday 12th November, the Mayor and Sheriff of Gloucester visited our school to see our work on the lanterns. They were amazed at the size of the Snow Queen! Steve Kitchen form BBC Radio Gloucestershire came to interview some Year 5 and 6 pupils on Thursday to find out more about the procession.. You can hear what they had to say here:   https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06r12sq
There are two interviews, the first at about 1.15  and the second around 2.15 into the show.
