Term 5 and 6 2018-2019
Swallow and Skylark headed down to th rive. The children had to find where they were on the map and different land marks. They drew pictures of the river to send to our link school in Ethiopia. They did a nature hunt and a litter pick.
Bristol Aquarium trip
The children had another fantastic time at Forest School. Swallow thought about the environment and litter. Swallow class had to guess whether it was a natural material or man made material they were holding.
Today (21.06.2019) we had Janette McCutcheon an author who has written 12 books about oceans liners. She talked to the children about different ocean liners and how they've changed over time and what impact they have had environmentally. She brought in artefacts from the Carpathia and Titanic.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the church this afternoon. Making friendship bracelets, writing their own prayers and thinking about where they fit in their community.
Did somebody say zip line?
Great fun at Forest School today! Mr Pritchard made a zip line for the children to go down. The children were set a challenge to see if they could create their own repeating pattern.
