     Welcome to Skylark Class
In Terms 3 and 4 we are exploring the project
"What is life like in the Polar Regions?"

Our work for the next two terms will be finding out about the South Pole and North Pole.  We will explore the habitats in both of the Polar Regions.  Finding out about the animals and geography of the areas.   We will be creating art pieces using different techniques depicting the landscape and animals.   We will focus on the life cycle of a penguin and what it is like for them to live in Antarctica.  We will then travel to the North Pole looking at the animals and landscape.  As part of the work about the North Pole we will find out about the Inuit people and the Iditarod Race, including why this race is run on a particular route.
